Some things are a question of taste and personal preference; others are not. In all realms of life, including architecture, there are some things that inarguably stink and others that clearly have greatness. This post is not about one of those things--it's more about style and taste.
So, while I don't actually personally like the Toren, that's a matter of taste. I have to admit that it is real architecture. Which is a lot more than i can say for a number of nearby new properties around Downtown Brooklyn.
